Vision
Coolmine Therapeutic Community believes that everyone should have the opportunity to overcome addiction and lead a fulfilled and productive life.
Mission Statement
Coolmine Therapeutic Community provides a range of quality community and residential services to empower people to end their dependence on drugs and alcohol
We’ve been around a while
Coolmine Therapeutic Community, established in 1973, was the first dedicated residential rehabilitation centre for drug users in Ireland. In the first seven years of our existence Coolmine remained a relatively small service and it was not until the major growth in heroin use in Dublin from 1980 onwards that Coolmine began to grow.
Coolmine continues to respond to the changing patterns of drug use and to the needs of the wider community affected by drugs.
Coolmine Therapeutic Community
· Coolmine is Ireland’s longest established therapeutic community for alcohol and drug addiction.
· Established in 1973 we accept clients from all over Ireland without prejudice to creed, ethnicity or social background.
