    County Wicklow Partnership/Wicklow Information Network in conjunction with FAS and Co. Wicklow VEC is running a NEW Walking Guide Course. If you have an interest in the outdoors then this course could be for you. The purpose of the course is to prepare people to lead walks on Marked Routes and Defined Trails in Rural Ireland and to be able to inform people about the local Environment and Heritage on the routes and trails. This is a highly interactive programme with practical tuition, supervised study and learner activities which will include walking in upland areas.

    Start Date: 23rd November 2009

    Location: Avondale House & Forest Park, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow

    WHO: Unemployed people who have an interest in walking or the outdoors.

    Duration: 20 hrs per week for 40 weeks
